Recall of facts

One of the best ways to help your child to succeed in mathematics is to support them to remember maths facts. This can be done by playing games, for example using one of the websites below or listening to you child say their times tables.

We work hard at our school to make sure that children can recall all the facts that they need to support them in their Mathematics learning. There are lots of ways in which we do this. One of those is to use Maths Passports. Each child has a passport which identifies the facts which they are learning. There is a passport for each year group based on the expectations in the 2014 National Curriculum. Children's passports reflect their mathematics knowledge and, as all children learn at different rates, they may be working in a different passport to their year group.
